Kayak Fishing

Capt. Chris Dollar specializes in fly & light tackle fishing--either by boat or kayak. Explore the Chesapeake's marsh guts & glide across grass flats casting for rockfish, bluefish, speckled trout, & puppy drum. The Chesapeake's skinny waters are ideal for light tackle & fly angling, or in the Fall when fish bust bait.

Capt. Chris$ is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain with 25 years experience. He guides from Native Watercraft kayaks, the most stable yaks on the water today. He also run Mothership Yak trips. The Chesapeake's quiet waters are perfect for kayak fishing. You'll fish on Native Watercraft Kayaks, the lightest, most stable, standup fishing yaks on the water. We use only high-quality fishing gear and tackle, including St. Croix Rods, the best rods on Earth, Shimano reels, Costa sunglasses and Yeti coolers.

If you want guided trip on center console, he fishes from an Everglades 243cc. Have more folks that want to fish? Capt. Chris$ has teamed up with Capt. Mark Galasso of Tuna the Tide charters, who has decades experience fishing the Bay. Capt. Mark’s custom 35-foot Markley can accomadate up to six anglers. Have an even larger group? We partner with other Bay Captains so we can also accommodate you as well.
