The Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Coast are world-class sportfishing destinations, offering nearly year-round fly and light tackle angling. The Chesapeake Bay holds huge numbers of the legendary striped bass (rockfish) and attracts bluefish, speckled trout as well as red and black drum. Also, cobia, Spanish mackerel and houndfish–exciting gamefish–are regular summer visitors. In the cooler months, yellow perch, pickerel and crappie abound in tidal rivers. CD Outdoors fishes the hotspots from the Susquehanna Flats and Eastern Shore shallows to the Bay Bridge Tunnel to put you on fish.
